PROJ #6: SILHOUETTES (8+ due next class)

DIRECTIONS: Make 8+ different and creative silhouette photographs. Due: next class period.

To create the silhouette effect, you must meter/measure (CLICK HERE) the light/exposure for the background (the brightest part of the image) and completely under expose the foreground subject. 

When first learning silhouette photography sunrise and sunset are good times to practice because the sun can be positioned directly behind the subject you wish to underexpose. (CLICK HERE for a good link).

FRIDAY, MARCH 4 - - - To Do Items For The Day.

Hi Photogs,

I'm sorry I am out today.

Today, I would like you to do the following:

1. Develop the NEW (15 or more) macro photographs that you did for homework.
You can develop/post-process them in any way we have so far (i.e. Black/white, Cross-Process           (Curves), Photo Filter, or any combination of these). Remember, these need to be NEW photos; not the photographs you made for practice in class on Tuesday. 

2. Make sure that after/before processing the photos you adjust the Brightness/Contrast, Exposure, Levels.

3. Post all 15 developed images to your blog.

4. Title the post "MACRO/APERTURE HOMEWORK."
