The Lounge recently stumbled upon a British photographer/artist by the name of Gavin Hammond. In his own words he is a "Writer, producer, musician, Lomo photographer, cartoonist, lo-fi filmmaker, poem-maker, internet junkie, and Londoner." Having once been Londoners ourselves, we were struck immediately by his beautiful black-and-white photographs of London reflected in puddles. (Links below)
Even more inspiring is that he "creates a little every day." That is the true spirit of an artist. Create something every day. Make yourself create. Be inspired by the things that would normall bore you. Make them your inspiration. Andy Warhol said, "You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you." Perfect.
