I will return on Wednesday, Sept. 19. Today, you are to do the following:
1. Students are to log on to the computers, open Chrome or Safari and research the name "Nicéphore Niépce."
2. Students are to log in to their blogs and create a NEW POST.
3. The title of the post is to be "Nicéphore Niépce"
4. The body of the post should be a thorough answer to the following:
A. Three or more specifics about this persons life (a short biography).
B. What photograph was he known for?
(Once you have found the photograph on-line, to save to the computer "CONTROL+CLICK" to "SAVE AS" to the "Downloads" folder. Once the photo has been saved, it can be added to new post you are creating by clicking the "INSERT IMAGE" icon on the posting toolbar within the blogger post. The window that appears will allow you to find the photo within the Downloads folder and upload it to the post)
C. What was noteworthy and important about this photograph?
D. Where was the photo taken?
E. How long did it take to make the exposure?
F. What year was the photo taken?
Extra credit: Where is the photo housed/kept today?
The blog post should include complete sentences and well-written answers to these questions, AND the photograph itself. A portrait of the photographer, or extra images can be added for extra points.
