IN-CLASS: Photograms

A photogram is a photographic print made by placing something on light-sensitive paper to block out light and then exposing the paper to light. The practice began with William Henry Fox Talbot in the 1830's with what he called "photogenic drawings." Essentially, "drawing with light." Perhaps the best known photographer to make photograms was Man Ray (1890-1976). He humbly referred to his creations as 'Rayographs'.

DIRECTIONS: By Friday, April 21, you should have made three+ distinctly different photogram images. Objects of your choosing.
